These binoculars have fantastic clarity. They have excellent build quality. I ordered the zeiss conquests a while ago. They had great clarity but the adjustments on the eye cups belonged on a $50 pair of binoculars. The Vortex uhd are superior in every way. The twelve times magnification is a bit hard to hold to keep still. When at home I use them on a tripod. That works awesome. I live in Wyoming where you can see a very long way and couldn‘t be happier with this purchase!

I got the 18x56’s January this year and headed out that week glassing for Javelina here in Arizona. I noticed something wasn’t right and realized the outer half of the glass just didn’t seem crisp like my 10x42 razor uhds. I called vortex the following morning to figure out a game plan of whether to mail them to them or exchange them since I just bought them. Well I chose to send the to vortex and within 4.5 days, they received them and indeed fixed them and had them back to me in no time glassing that following weekend. I can’t be more happy.

Excellent picture quality. A little on the heavy side but not too bad.

I had been planning on splurging on an excellent pair of binocs. I wasn’t sure about these but I read the reviews and went for it. The color and detail are unbelievable, I don’t see how a $2500 pair could be better than these. I put three stars for the weight because they weigh 2 lbs and could get heavy in the field. They come with a nice halter though that can take the pressure off.

I thought they might be too long and heavy, but there not. They are comfortable to hold and feel lighter than the Swarovski 15x56 although they are an ounce or 2 heavier by specifications. It is a noticeable difference between 18x and 15x. The 18x seemed a lot closer. If you are reading reviews to find the best high power binoculars, at this time, the best are Swarovski SLC 56. They just are. These nice quality binoculars will be joining the group as the highest power at present.I find no fault in these binoculars. Everything works as it should and the view is excellent. No regrets buying these. I got over the sticker shock of buying what is called alpha level binoculars a couple of years ago. If you are buying retail new and want this level of performance.Every binocular in regular rotation gets a bino bandit. This not only helps keep out stray light it also means that these binoculars will be used. Unlike some that are only admired.

These binoculars are the best that I have ever looked through. Clean, crisp, and bright detail. I have the Vortex HD 12x50 and love them. But the Vortex Razor UHD 18x56 are superior in every way. I am very pleased with every penny that I spent for these!!!

I purchased these for birding in my area in NJ. I was blow away… I did not appreciate that a good pair of Binos give you a 3D feel when you look thru. I could see super detailed birds and clarity. The 10X power was perfect. Build quality is great. Very easy to focus. Easy to wear with eye glasses. Super happy with purchase. One struggle I have had is trying to digiscope. I must me doing it wrong as the attachment for the iPhone keeps swivelling given the eye piece swivels. So am frustrated by this. But this is probably the case for all Binos.

If you wear glasses, or don‘t wear glasses, these are by far the best bino‘s I‘ve ever bought.Pricey for sure, but worth it.

I can’t imagine another pair being any better than these. Just a touch heavy but quality is amazing.
